Not able to add data into database in ATG

Hai all,
I'm new to ATG. I've created registration form with fields like first name,last name,gender etc. I've created handler method to create profile item.I'm successfully created profile item. My actual problem is i want these datas to be stored in databasse(i'm using SQL developer). I have tried with creating RepositoryView but no luck. If anyone knows please help me.

I have tried by creating Repository view and queryBuilder. Is it possible to insert data into database using Query Builder?
