How can I element belong to goups

I Have a record in the database, I would like to assign this record belong to 3 or 4 group, each group has number, group 1 - group 2 ........
I have one field available in the record to store a number, this number must be refer to groups that the record belong to.

how can I do that.

I am using php and mysql

What I have tried:

I read about something named tag, it is c# but I didn't understand it

for example: the laptop belong to computer group and devices group electricity devices group
