about subtitle for idx/sub (help help help)

I want to wirte a c program to parse the idx/sub.

When I look in the web, I cannot find how to parse .idx and .sub.

I see the .sub and I can see 00 00 01 ba 44 03 0d 5f 94 f7.
(I guess it the header of the picture, but I do not know what it means.)

If anyone has done the same program, could you give me some help.

You could start by explaining what an idx and a sub are, and what information you are trying to get from them.

i have find from web. the .idx is the index of .sub ,i can find the time and the subtitle's pos in .sub. the .sub is a picture format, but i do not know the format,and i can not find in the web.
