code extract with colors

Hi,

Is it possible to copy a visual studio code with its colours to the asp web page textbox or similar control. When it is copied to word, code preserves its colors but after paste to the textbox it has not html tag for colors.

Is there any tool to extract a code with colors as html to the text file that can be used or any idea how to do it (using regex to write a html color tag generating before html render or different idea).

The out of the box textbox will not work because it has no understanding for markup, its just for text, hence the name textbox. If you want coloring and other formatting you need to use a rich textbox. There are a number of controls available for this.
