Hi,

I am using drop down lists in Grid view.

I have predefined data in Drop Down List. I am using pagination.

I am in first page. I have some data in Drop Down List. I changed data in Drop Down List and going to second page. If I come back to first page from 2nd page, it is not retaining changed values. It is getting default values.

I want to retain the values after coming back to first page from second page.

It would be great if u can help me out in this regard.

Thank you so much in advance.

Solution 2

You can only achieve this customized solution by storing your DropDown selected state in ViewState by storing in Key/Value pair.

HERE[^] is example for you which same way work to persist CheckBox state, Modify it accordingly.

Do NOT respond by adding an answer. Use the 'Add Comment' widget at the bottom right of the answer you want to respond to. That way the person gets an email, just like you are getting here. Only use the Add Answer/Solution if you have a solution to the OPs original question.
