I'm sorry George, but I don't think dumping all that code on us is not going to help. Nobody will wade through all this. You'd be better of if you could pin point your problem.

Hi Manfred, Thank you for your reply. My objective is to capture a desktop activities as video using WMencoder. I got the code from microsoft, and its working fine and all. Now the problem is when i got the video output its frame height and width is same as my laptop screen width and height. The output video is playing well in computer but it is not working in DVD Player bcoz the frame height and width is too large. Here i want to change the code to capture 420HX650W size. So Please help me to change it.

I don't think anyone will wade through that code, as Manfred already stated. But at a glance,
it seems pretty obvious you need to play around with the section of code that uses the CAPTURE_FULLSCREEN value.

Underneath it you have a bunch of commented out code which looks ripe for setting the capture window's size.

Edit: You could also try setting the resolution of your labtop to that of a dvd.

just using cropping :

C#
SrcVid.CroppingLeftMargin = pa[0].X;
SrcVid.CroppingTopMargin = pa[0].Y;
SrcVid.CroppingBottomMargin = SrcVid.Height - pa[2].Y;
SrcVid.CroppingRightMargin = SrcVid.Width - pa[2].X;
