Problem with printing an OCX ActiveX control in Excel 2003

When I print-preview an OCX ActiveX control in Excel 2003 the ActiveX control size is correct, but when actually I print it, it becomes too small! Does anyone know what might be causing this?

Solution 1

Probably because your printing a pixel-for-pixel image of your control. Since the pixels on screen are MUCH bigger than what you're printer is capable of, your control needs to scale up its image to a proper size before sending that image to the device.

Which is what the print preview is supposed to be for. To show the difference between print and display :-)

Doesn't always work that way though.
