Hello Friends,
I want to develop application where i can send online sms and recharge the the mobile numbers.can any one please tell how can i do this . what type of sms gateway i need to use or is there any api is available for this, if there is api could please provide me link for that.

Forget about everything else. Start from where/how can you recharge someones mobile via an SMS?

Yes, if you thought about it correctly, you need to talk to the providers first. You need to have a licence to do it and they themselves would tell/suggest how and what you need in order to do the same. Once the setup is there and the communication channel is set, then move ahead on the left part of how to sms it (which again is pretty document thing!)

Looks like you didn't understand my reply. Just think logically, if you want to have an application that recharges mobile, who gave you authority or how can you do it.

Take an example. I want to recharge my Airtel number, I come to your website, pay the money to *you* but then how will *you* recharge my mobile? You are not Airtel! Got it? You need to have a tie-up or commnication channel set up with airtel to do it, right?

Once done, then your application needs to have a payement gateway annd the way to initiate the communication with provider (might be an sms or so.)

You need to contact them(providers). They will guide you through their process and requirement.

I did this in the past, we had to use a third party provider that had the link to the carriers, they had a web service where we sent the information according to their tech specs and returned a message with the success or failure of the transaction.
Obviously we were held accountable of all the recharges we sent to the live environment, a contract had to be signed and fees applied, is not something anyone can have access and the message we sent had to meet the specs otherwise the transaction was declined

My suggestion is that you look for a provider that has the service available, contact them, check what it means for you to be able to send those messages, fees, etc etc and start from there, is not like just developing an application and sell it. Each carrier is different
