Was the Beginners Hardware and Device Programming Competition Cancelled?

The Beginners Hardware and Device Programming Competition was supposed to end on February 28th but I haven't heard anything about it. I noticed that the hardware zone seems to have been completely removed from the site as well and the only way I can even see that the competition existed is by using the link I saved from when I first saw it[^]. Was the competition cancelled?

Don't ask this as a Q&A: It is better directed to the admins (who may or may not see it here).
Instead, post it in the Sugs and Bugs[^] forum: they read everything in there!
