I am developing this site in asp.net 4.0 it was working fine.

However, after I added a javascript Autosuggest in page load on one page this error occured after publishing.
(I CONFIGURED IT IN ASP.NET 4.0)

All my pages work just fine on development, but after publishing, (deploying), I always get:

Method not found: 'Void System.Web.UI.MasterPage.InstantiateInContentPlaceHolder(System.Web.UI.Control, System.Web.UI.ITemplate)' ERROR.

Solution 2

Did you set the correct .NET Framework for your web application in IIS?

Assuming it was developed in .NET framework 2, make sure you have selected Framework v2.0 in your IIS as the application configuration.
