Is it possible to save the xml file with a determined name?

Solution 1

If you're talking about saving an Xml formatted string using Javascript running in a browser context, forget it. Browser-based Javascript runs in a sandboxed environment and pretty much the only things it can write to the local machine are cookies. You're almost certainly looking at passing the created Xml to some server-side script over a web service in order to save it.
