upload & Read an .doc file in web page

Hi This is lakshmana rao,

I have a word documents, and i want to upload and read that, and especially i want to read .doc file in "ms office word" in my web page itself only.(not to open file out side).

(Note: is there any chance to restrict clients didn't download or save that file) please help me.

To be honest Microsoft Office automation is not recommended. Read Recommendation for sever side automation of Office[^].

In order to view MS word online then you may have to go with third part controls. Like Telerik Editor control.[^]. It just like monster resume upload control. Or use google doc viewer https://docs.google.com/viewer[^]
