Can I connect my old XP Home OS computer by ethernet crossover cable to my new windows 7 OS machine, both have built-in LAN routers.Then install my Linksys 10/100 LAN Card in my new computer to connect my Speedstream 5200 router to the internet, having networking between two computers and access to the internet through my new machine for both computers? Yes offcourse you can do it. For that you need to have some basic knowledge of networking.
