See more: VB.NET socket
I need to post & download a webpage using simply socket, not httpwebrequest, as I need to use this in multithreaded code.

Can anyone give me sample code on how to use sockets

Thanks

Solution 2

Your kind of looking to write your own web client, but there's no need to. The existing web client classes can be used in a multithreaded environment.

You cannot use the WebBrowser control (in the ToolBox) in anything other than the UI thread.

Solution 1

You will have to clarify your need since there is no reason I can see why seperate HttpWebRequest can't be used in multiple threads.
