i have create the setup of the winform application . after installing this setup in windows 7 it display the like this

name: my application.exe
publisher:unknown publisher
Type: application
From: my application.exe

i want to set the publisher name ,how to set the publisher name ?

Solution 1

It's a security feature. Companies buy certificates from companies like Thawte who verify that the company is a ligit company.
You'll want to research certificates[^].
