Bluetooth device on laptop not working

Hello friends the bluetooth device on my laptop is not working. The other devices are not able to detect it. I tried to enable the bluetooth settings by selecting 'Allow bluetooth devices to find this computer' but its giving a message that device might be unplugged.
Can anyone help? Thanks.

did you install the bluetooth drivers.. check that first?

the drivers are installed...the device was working initially but now there is some problem
