How to use silverlight control in asp.net webpage

Can i use silverlight controls in asp.net web pages? I don't want to create silverlight application . I want only silverlight controls in toolsbox to insert in asp.net page like using ajax controls.
Please help me.

I tried to follow the steps given in the first link
i.e.

for the same I downloaded Silverlight.js file from
http://archive.msdn.microsoft.com/silverlightjs[^]

but in the very first example of growing and shrinking green sphere I was unable to see expected output. I see a blank white page. Is something I am missing. I tested my silverlight installation, its perfectly running sample silverlight application in browser, so no issue in silverlight version etc. Because the article posted on the link is too old. So there may be some updates or change in way of using. Please let me know where am I going wrong.

I was about to create a new thread but saw the same question already posted so continued here. I am not sure shall I create a new thread for the same since the question is too old?

I don't understand why we wasting time in debating or discussing out of point matter inspite of solution to the problem. Nevermind but please let me know the solution or suggest some reference example if you got or knowing.
