Hi,

My computer is a windows xp computer, so is the one i want to connect remotely. Both of them are not server.

I would like to connect to that computer because i want to use a program which is in that computer. I would like to see the graphical interface of that program on my computer.

Google talks about remote desktop. But it seems like this is only if you want to connect to a server.

I know very little about communication. I read on Google that every computer is behind a NAT. That if you want to connect remotely to another computer which is not a server, you have to "Punch a hole through the NAT". The also call it port forwarding.

Can anyone just please give me step by step instructions on how to connect remotely to the other Windows computer in order to use the User Interface of a program which is in that remote computer?

Thanks in advance for your help.
