Even a fresher should ask correct questions in order to get any useful answers. Where is the tags for platform, engine, IU library used. The questions like "What's the difference between {0}, {1} and {2}?" cannot be correct. What's the difference between apple and Apple? Such questions do not define what kind of question is expected. What do you want to know about each? Please use "Improve question" above.

I just want to understand the basic concept of gridview events. I have just started learning asp.net so sorry if i have made mistake in asking the question. I don't know what do you mean buy " Where is the tags for platform, engine, IU library used."

That is way, way too much to explain here!

There are three things you can do:
1) Look at MSDN: they give a reasonable explanation of each event. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.web.ui.webcontrols.gridview_events.aspx[^]
2) Look in your course book, and see if that explains them - since it can give pictures and is written by a proffessional writer, it should be able to do a better job than we can.
3) Go talk to your tutor - he or she should be able to explain them to you in terms that should be understood given your experience level (which we don't even know!)

Hi OrigianlGriff,

Thanks for replying. Can you write any other website in which it is explained more easier. Its kinda tough to understand from MSDN.

Not really - I have no idea of your experience level. Time for your course book, or tutor!

lol, Actually the thing is that i have just joined a company as a trainee in dot.net and i am a begineer , but they don't give any actual training , they just give tasks to do , so i just get confused sometimes in some keywords and their meaning thats why i just want to clear the basic thats why i am asking it :|
