A bit late to wonder about that now, hmm? I would recommend you to start with your preparations earlier next time.

Tomorrow? Too late. Have a walk, get a gulp of fresh air. Seriously.

I'll have to gv a tlk in astro physics tomorrow.
How many gulps of fresh air need I take?

Tx in advnc!Have a five!

Thank you, Manfred.

With astrophysics, just fresh air won't be enough. Swim for an hour or more. The colder the water, the better.

Good luck,

'n how far do I have to walk?
Sergey Alexandrovich Kryukov 2-Nov-11 12:30pm
Come on, you could have asked all at once. It depends on how well do you know the subject. To some, I would recommend to walk, well... away.
Best,

"I would recommend to walk, well... away."

Sounds like sound advice to me! Gotta be going now ... ;)
If you are not prepared, ask them for an extension, say a week or so. If you already understand basic concepts you should be able to prepare for your session in that time frame. If you absolutely need to do this tomorrow, and you already know some ADO.NET but you are not fully confident, then make sure you only talk about stuff you know. Do not try and talk about stuff that you are not fully familiar with, as that can get you booed off stage. I am sorry but that's the best advice I can give you now.

Yeah, well I can't hang around to chat. Still have got a lot of walking, swimming and gulping of air to do.

thanx for all commnents
Work your way through Get Started with ASP.NET[^] - you can't copy it, it's too well known, but you will learn a thing or two about how to create your presentation and asp.net.

Buy yourself a few of Terry Pratchetts' books[^] just to get in the mood - a certain level of entertainmen value is usually appreciated.

Best regards

Same 5 with the same comment as for Nishant's -- still think my advice is more practical. :-)

Thanks Sergey, you may be right - but that doesn't leave him much hope ...
