Automatically copying a file from client to server.

I want to copy the file from client's PC's specified location to server without using file upload control. Actually in the web application the file will be created on client's PC's C:\\ drive and as soon as the client opens my website i want to automatically upload that file to server(without using file upload control).

Solution 1

You can't, with a standard website - security will not allow you access to any of the users files without his direct intervention.
