I made an access 2007 form into a checklist. But I need a way to display stock numbers on another subform, and be able to select a stock number and go view the info about the item (which I has in another DB)

Item: stock number; manufacturer, type1,type2

And the problem is...

I need to know how to add another form that will allow a user to select and open the record using a subform or VB.

The main form is a checklist to enter data. The sub form (which I hoped to look like a scroll down list) needs to point the user to the item data.
