update column value in table values based on the parameter passed

I have one table having columns C1,c2,c3,c4.
admin can update any one of the column or all column. i am not able to think how can i perform this. can anyone give any advice on this

Solution 1

You will execute the query.

SQL

Alter table tablename alter column c1
