reading and writing to files on disk in 64 bits assembly

Hi I'm writing my own operating system called lightwave.

I read somewhere that BIOS interrupts are not available in 32 bits and 64 bits assembly mode. So I wanted to find out how to read and write files to disk without BIOS in 64/32 bits assembly
