Hi

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/aa380809(v=VS.85).aspx[^]

What i'm trying to achive is to have a webpage in a website with Remote Desktop ActiveX control available in link above. By this I want to remote desktop to the machine hosting the website through internet from any other machine.

My question is can this Remote Desktop ActiveX control embedded in webpage be used to remote desktop the machine hosting the page from any machine outside its intranet through internet or this ActiveX control works only within the intranet?

Thanx

AFAIK, this should be possible: "I want to remote desktop to the machine hosting the website through internet from any other machine."

You need to make sure that the system you are trying to access using remote desktop via internet is configured such that it has public IP address.

ActiveX designed will just raise the remote-desktop object and thus should not put any limitations like intranet or internet.
