Hello all,

My main goal is to put a complete virtualized "small" windows server into my current linux physical server.

Before stopping the production server I want to be sure that everything will work and therefore I've virtualized both machines (linux and windows).

Now in my programming computer I've the VMWare workstation installed running the linux virtualized server.

I would like to be able to install the vmware player inside that virtual linux in order to launch there (inside the virtualized linux) the virtualized windows server.

The problem I can see is that when I'm trying to run the vmplayer software in my virtualized linux, it appears a message telling me that it tries to stop some vmware services and that it can't stop them.

I guess it is quite normal as those services must be used in the virtualized linux machine, but after searching some time in the Internet about nesting vmware machines I've not seen anything that would help.

Thank you in advance and prosperous new year to everyone!
