Hi all,
I know The Finger print reader can be used directly in windows application.
when i am applying in the web application i cant do it.please tell if it is possible? Are there any other ways to do

By which port it connects to PC ?

Solution 1

Do you have the SDK of the Device? If yes, then create an ActiveX call the API's from the SDK, and you will be able to achieve your goal.

You can start with JAVA Applets to invoke API's of the Fingerprint Device (provided the SDK supports java)

Revert back to the vendor and ask for the driver SDK...and is there any available ActiveX from their side....if they provide you then you are done...
