stop sql server database file version updation in visual studio 2010

i have designed my database in sql server 2005 and my project in visual studio 2010...
it connects succesfully... but when i change or update database(manually not in running mode) via vs's server it upgrades the database file... and now my sql server 2005 is not supporting it because of higher version.. how can i stop vs to update my database file..
