Suggestion - Development Platform

Hi,

I need an help in order to decide which tools I have to use in order to obtain the following results:

- I would like to create a simple CAD application that allow to load and display drawings and manage other types of data (files are saved in the web)
- I would like to offer to the customers the option to work without any restriction in any environment: desktop PC, desktop MAC, web browser, Android tablet, iPAD tablet.

AutoCAD WS, for example, is a tool that satisfy the above requirements.

My questions are:

- How is possible to get this results ?

- Which development environment should I have to use ?

- Any environment requires a specific project or it is possible to share the source code between different environment ?

Solution 1

Probably Java is your best bet (if performance is not a serious concern). However you have to use something different for the iPad.
