Data retrieve on user login

Hello Fellow Developers,

Hope one of my query could be easily solvable in this area. All I need is to retrieve data from one of the sql table on user login. I have got user id, user task id and task status as three fields in a sql table. All I need is a particular user's details on his Login.

User provides a unique User ID on his Login. Is their a chance to retrieve particular three details from the table on each different User ID. The code is to written in VB.NET.

Hope its solvable ~~ASAP~~.

Can you point out why is this difficult? this is straight forward. while login u may load the user object which may also have proprty for list of tasks, does this sound logical? am i missing anything?
