laptop off automatically

Hi,

I am using my LENOVO laptop from 2007. I have changes its battery after 2 year. Again, my battery has been discharge. I am using my laptop on direct Power, because without power it won't start. So, I am using on direct power from last 6 months. Now when I start my laptop on power, it starts but after sometimes(5-10 minutes) it off. I am in big problem, because I am unable to do my work.

So, I want to know about the problem. What type of problem can be happen with my problem. Please help me, I am in big trouble.

Have you seen the error messages in event viewer. What error message is it giving

Direct off without any error.

Even with a fresh battery? Could it be already depleted now?

if it happened in working period then u go to laptop service center, if it happened when u not using your system just start it and update the setting of power option.

But when I went to repair system,Hardware engineer tells that an IC was damaged.
