Does the c# program can run in linux when the linux install framework?Is c# Cross-platform?

Solution 1

You can run C# apps under Linux if you have the Mono framework[^] installed.
I don't know how good it is nowadays - when I last used it it was pretty painful, but I hear it is a lot better these days and that was a while ago.

Solution 2

Using Mono Frame work only you can run C# programs ...in linux operating system you can download it from

Solution 3

Then you can install and use "Monodevelop" (via aptitude) to easily develop your application.
