Windows 8 Metro Application cannot connect outside Domain

In Windows 8 Metro Application, when creating Metro App, the App cannot connect to internet outside of the intranet Domain. Though package.appxmanifest file has all needed information for the app to connect to internet.
 
I think Windows 8 metro app cannot recognize the proxy, is that right?
 
So what is the solution for a computer in an intranet to have a metro app which is able to connect to internet through proxy???
