Read the data from hyperterminal

I want to read data from hyperterminal and should be in a continuousness as i write a word in hyperterminal it should be displayed in console application.
plz help me.....

My friend is doing a project on EMBEDDED system.
So he wants me to read the hyperterminal data in console application.

That does not answer why(?). It does not make any sense to run HyperTerminal to read serial data and have another application extracting the data from HyperTerminal for display in yet another window. Either use HyperTerminal to read the serial data OR read the serial data in your console program directly.
