JSON validation of textbox input onblur event of jquery

Hi EveryOne

I am new to JSON, So need guidance in this regard
I have a text box, i want to validate the user name on user creation form using JSON, when onblur event occurs. If the user is there in the database, then alert him that user already exist, other wise let him to fill the form.
