Suggestion for GATE Computer Science, Being Electronics student Deleted

Hi All,
I have done my B.Tech @ 2010 in ECE[Electronics And Communication].

After that onward I am working in VC++ domain in a company.

Now I want to appear for GATE Exam for "Computer Science" after finishing 2 years in this company.

I don't want to do MBA and all non-technical study.I want to explore more on Computer
Assembly level or embedded design or multicore architecture etc.

I want to do research oriented work on some company so want to increase my profile.If possible want to go abroad for direct PHD[without doing M.Tech].

I want to know

1>What is the best book of GATE that will help me?[who is from ECE Dept. but want to appear for CSE GATE exam.]

2>any other suggation for?[like. any carrier path or should I go to Gate forum or keep personal teacher for some subject eg. Automata which I don't know at all.]

I would advise you seek this kind of information elsewhere as it is off topic here.

You can also go to your nearest college/university/teaching institution and ask the tutors there.
