Which is best Client Software to Connect Oracle Database?

Hi,
I am .net developer now i want to run some queries on oracle database,so in order to
connect to Oracle database using sql management studio i need to create linked server and all that, but it give me so many problem, there for i am looking the for the client software like SQMS so i can easily connect to Oracle db and run those Queries..

Also please mention from where i can get that client software...

TOAD- First preference of many oracle developers,Gives SSMS like functionality to oracle
PL/SQL Developer-- The other alternative.
