How to search a string in documents like pdf, word, ppt

Hi everyone ,

I need to search string in a collection of documents in a folder. i had an idea of using lucene.net and xapian. Is there any code snippets to search string in documents??

you probably need to look into using the Interop[^] namespace(s) for Microsoft Office products, and something like iTextSharp[^] for PDF.
