Hi experts,

Dad's out of station now, otherwise he could have helped me.

I don't know how to view subtitle for audios. I have songs in my DVD(Birthday present!) & I have lyrics too(I got those from online). Now how to see the lyrics text on the screen while playing those songs(Like movie subtitles)?.

Example:

Song : Rain Drops keep falling on my head
Lyrics:
Raindrops keep falling on my head
And just like the guy whose feet are too big for his bed
Nothin' seems to fit
Those raindrops are falling on my head, they keep falling

So I just did me some talkin' to the sun
And I said I didn't like the way he' got things done
Sleepin' on the job
Those raindrops are falling on my head, they keep falling

But there's one thing I know
The blues he sends to meet me won't defeat me
It won't be long till happiness steps up to greet me

Raindrops keep falling on my head
But that doesn't mean my eyes will soon be turnin' red
Crying's not for me
Cause I'm never gonna stop the rain by complainin'
Because I'm free
Nothing's worrying me

I tried Google but no luck :( please help me.

If you have any other suggestions please....would be appreciated.

Thank you all.

Subtitles have to come with the original DVD. Adding them later does not work unless you are going to do a lot of work and you have rights to do so. For example, here is a tutorial on how to do so if you already have the subtitles file or if your DVD has subtitles included on the disk:

Audio tracks don't usually have "subtitles". Certain players will display the lyrics of certain songs but someone has to match up the place in the track with the words being displayed. There isn't a way to just add lyrics in and see them displayed at the proper time in the song.
If you're using VLC media player, then you could see the subtitle for audio files too.

For example, you have two files like as below
Rain Drops keep falling on my head.mp3
Rain Drops keep falling on my head.srt

Now open the mp3 file using VLC player & Select Audio - Visualizations - Spectrometer or anything. Now you could see the subtitle for audio.

BTW you can't see lyrics on audio, you should find appropriate subtitle for audio. Go google.
