See more: MySQL database Modules
MySQL stored procedures are great (thank you very much) for small projects, but when it gets bigger and bigger, the number of procedures get out of hand.

I found a seven year old bug request here[^]. And reading the comments, I can be sure this feature is never going to be implemented.

So, my questions is, is there an alternative way, a hack maybe, to logically separate stored procedures in MySQL?

Separating namespace/module and procedure name with '_' is not appealing because, if I have multi-worded module names/proc names, it's going to be a mess. e.g. see if you can identify the module and procedure: Customer_Order_Total. Is this Customer.OrderTotal or CustomerOrder.Total?
