error in starting jee project using tomcat

When i start a j2ee project deployed in tomcat i get the following
"FAIL - Application for context path / OTV_JSF_Spring_Hibernate-1.0-SNAPSHOT could not be started"
I have tried many ways but i still get the same error.
what notice in the tomcat manager page, is that the "Functional" column corresponding to "OTV_JSF_Spring_Hibernate-1.0-SNAPSHOT.war" is set to "false" so is that the problem or something else and how to solve the problem.
