Hi all

How can I validate a VB.Net DataGridView Cell to accept only Alphabet characters upper and lower. No numbers or special characters are allowed.

Your help please....

Solution 3

On CellEndEdit Event of DataGridView

Read the Value of Current Cell
i.e.
dataGridView1.CurrentCell.Value.tostring

Check for Your Crieteria.

If crieteria is Not satisfied give message ..

                    MessageBox.Show("Enter only numbers");
                }
                else
                {
                    MessageBox.Show("Enter correct format data. Different format data will not accept");
                }

        }
