we are using crystal reports 11.5 but when we print report of 4000 to 5000 pages then it prints report in chunks of 100 pages which create embarrassment for our clients. To overcome this problem we decided to export report directly to pdf but when we publish it to live server it give error of "Connection reset to server".
So finally we have decided to shift to ssrs.
My questions are
1: Which is fast ssrs or crystal reports?
2: Can we export reports in ssrs directly to pdf without any font Problem?

any help or tutorial.

I guess based on this article[^] on msdn, you can export to PDF.

Regarding speed, I guess it could depend on your scenario.

These posts compare the two -
