CClrbutton problem in windows 98

i have used CClrbutton fucntionality in my project and works fine in Xp OS. But problem in win98. error occurs when i run executable file. Compiler is vc6.0

APPLICATION caused an invalid page fault in module MFC42D.dll at 0167:5f4816ce

I do not think you will find much help with Windows 98 any more. It has been dead a long time.

Additionally, "error occurs when i run executable file" means absolutely nothing.

I guess your are linking with dlls which arent on W98. Use dependency Walker and open the exe on the w98-PC.

you really shouldnt focus on W98 - it is so outdated. Also XP....

The MFC dll that come with windows 98 are not enough to use your apps.

Redistribute the DLL's by using static linking and cross fingers.

What Richard, Wes and KarstenK have told you is all correct.
