when i try to install visual studio 2010 on windows 7 ultimate
give me this error
A newer version of Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable has been detected on the machine.
should i remove it.or what should i do?

I would probably leave it. YMMV

I would suggest keeping the newer file, unless you have a reason to believe it has been compromised.

Where did you get anything about Studio 2012 out of this? You are talking about installing 2010. The message you are getting is that the C++ 2010 redistributable file on your system is newer than the one your 2010 installer is trying to install. Just keep the newer file and continue. I believe that option exists in the installer.
