Recording from soundcard using directshow

Hello All,

I have just started programming a bit in directshow a few months ago.

I was hoping to design an application where I could record whatever is being output on my sound card using directshow. Is it possible at all?

Preferably, I would like the data to be stored into an array with Wav samples, thats the first step anyway, so I am a bit lost here as to how can I record stuff coming on the sound card. Any help would be most appreciated, as I am really lost and would really like a starting point atleast :(
