Paypal Auto return url: how to convert the local url into www. domain

Hi,

i am following instructions from this web page: "Introduction to PayPal for C# - ASP.NET developers[^]"

Here it says, to use Auto Return- i need to enable it in my profile in paypal sandbox test site. here i need to mention the "return URL"
I am trying to give my local " url" as the return URL, and hence the paypal is not able to process it, is there a work around for this?
this is a test website and we are not hosting it

Did you tried with public ip address instead of localhost?

Solution 1

The return url will have to be able to get back to you. You'll need to get a public IP for this.
