I disabled Anomymous Access and enabled Integrated Windows Authentication in my web.config file as follows...
<configuration>
    <system.web>
        <authentication mode="Windows"/>
        <authorization>
            <deny users="?"/>
        </authorization>
    </system.web>
</configuration>

Why is it that when I deploy my web application to IIS, I still have to manually disable and enable these two settings in IIS? Doesn't IIS read the settings in my web.config file?
