See more: C# VB
I'm a VB.Net hobby programmer, teaching myself C# (masochistic I guess). In VB I can write

Dim Num as decimal = 12.5
Dim StringNum as string = FormatCurrency(Num)

to get '$12.50'

I can't seem to find the C# equivalent to FormatCurrency. Is there one? Thanks.

In both languages you should use ToString("{0:C}"}

Or something like that. Methods like FormatCurrency are a bad hangover from VB6.
Hey! I learned something. Thanks.
