Dears!
I'm beginner at COM.
Usually, When I made the COM object, its extension is .dll, or .exe as I known.
And then what is .olb file?
and the difference of odl file and idl file?

You could have easily googled this .olb = automation object library .odl = object definition language .idl = interface definition language

Thank you for your help. In VS2008, Commonly, IDL file is made at COM Wizard mode. Then, how are odl files made in? And the OLB file alose is COM, isn't it?
